SVHS Student Zoey Moore Elected Lieutenant Governor at Key Club District Convention

Congratulations to Zoey Moore, who was recently elected as Lieutenant Governor (LTG) at the Carolinas Key Club District Convention!

The Lieutenant Governor is a distinguished leadership role within Key Club International, serving on the district leadership team and representing multiple Key Club chapters across South Carolina. In this role, Zoey will lead divisional meetings, mentor and support club officers, help coordinate service initiatives, and represent both our school and district at major events throughout the year.

Having a Spring Valley student selected for this position is an incredible honor and reflects our school’s strong commitment to leadership and community service.

Please join us in congratulating Zoey Moore on this outstanding accomplishment and wishing her great success in the year ahead!

Spring Valley Key Club Shines at Carolinas District Convention

Members of our Spring Valley Key Club recently attended the Carolinas Key Club District Convention (DCON), an annual event where Key Club members from across North and South Carolina come together to celebrate service, build leadership skills, and recognize outstanding clubs and members.

During the convention, our students participated in leadership workshops, connected with fellow Key Club members, and celebrated the impact of service projects completed throughout the year.

We are proud to share that our Key Club represented Spring Valley exceptionally well and brought home four major awards:

🏆 Diamond Distinguished Club
🏆 1st Place Major Emphasis Award
🏆 1st Place Digital Scrapbook
🏆 1st Place Promotional Video

Because of these outstanding achievements, our club will also have the opportunity to compete and be recognized at the upcoming Key Club International Convention, where top projects and members from around the world will be honored.

Way to go, Key Club! We are proud of your leadership, service, and the way you continue to represent The Valley with excellence.

Celebrating National Social Work Month 💚💛

March is National Social Work Month, a time to recognize the dedication, compassion, and vital contributions of social workers in our schools, hospitals, and communities. The 2026 theme, “Social Workers: Uplift. Defend. Transform,” highlights the powerful role social workers play in advocating for others and supporting those in need.

At Spring Valley, we are proud to honor our school social worker, Mrs. Morgan Lea Daniels, for the incredible work she does every day. Mrs. Daniels plays a vital role in bridging home, school, and community, ensuring that our students and families have the resources, care, and support they need to succeed.

Thank you, Mrs. Daniels, for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to the well-being of our Viking community. Your work truly makes a difference! 💚💛
