Thank You to Spring Valley Education Foundation!

Today we are sending a big thank you to the Spring Valley Education Foundation for showing appreciation to all our faculty and staff during “Teacher Appreciation Week”. They handed out Chick-fil-A biscuits, cinnamon rolls from Cici’s pizza, coffee and gift cards from local business in Columbia.

The purpose of the Spring Valley Education Foundation is to raise funds and promote educational programs through the donation of goods, services, and money from corporations, business groups, foundations, and individuals. The SVEF acts as a fiscal agent for donors who wish to sponsor special projects or programs. It administers both “designated” and unrestricted gifts. Sparkleberry Lane Construction

We wanted to let all of our families know that we will be experiencing some traffic issues on Sparkleberry Lane in front of the school over the next 2-3 months.  Richland County will be making updates to the gas lines, storm drains, and adding sidewalks.  Work crews will do their best to minimize the impact to arrival and departure times at school.  If you are a car rider or student driver, we strongly encourage you to arrive early to school to make sure you are on time for class.

After School Tutoring

We will offer both on-campus and virtual tutoring options this year.  Offering both platforms allows us to provide more options for students to get academic assistance after school.  Please visit the SVHS Tutoring website for a complete schedule of the tutoring opportunities.

A special thank you goes out to the Spring Valley Education Foundation for funding this important initiative.
