Science National Honor Society New Member Recruitment

Are you a junior or a senior?
Have you maintained a B+ in ALL of your science courses?
Have you taken at least one HONORS science class during or prior to your junior year?
If you are a junior, do you plan on taking at least one AP science course before graduating?
If you are a senior, have you taken or are you currently enrolled in AP Biology, Biology II Honors, AP Chemistry, Chemistry II Honors, AP Physics, and/or AP Environmental Science?

If so, then you may be eligible for membership in the Science National Honors Society. If you are interested in applying please complete this google Application form:

Interested in Joining the Wrestling Team

Attention all 9th-12th grader’s – If you are interested in joining the wrestling team, please contact Head Coach Cody Garnett (cgarnett@richland2.org) or Assistant Coach Brian Hedgecock (bhedgecock@richland2.org). We will provide you with information about the upcoming season and what you need to start. Preseason to start on October 12 and regular season practice is set to begin on November 2nd. (Date subject to change)

Society of Odin at Spring Valley Application

You can be a charter member of the Society of Odin if you meet the following criteria:

Juniors
- Must have completed at least 1 year of honors English
- Must be enrolled in either Honors or AP during junior year
- Must have an overall GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Must have a 3.5 combined GPA on a 4.0 scale in previous English classes
Seniors
- Must have completed at least 2 years of honors or AP English
- Must be enrolled in honors or AP during senior year
- Must have an overall GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Must have a 3.5 combined GPA on a 4.0 scale in previous English classes

All applicants must complete this online application and submit an unofficial transcript to verify grades and GPA.

Application

As members of the Society of Odin, you will be required to participate in at least one service project and two community events planned by the group.If you fulfill membership obligations, you will be eligible for a graduation cord. There is a one time fee of $35 for your membership.
