eLearning Procedures and Expectations for Jan. 9th

On Tuesday, January 9, 2024, students will participate in a day of eLearning per Richland Two’s 
Parent Square announcement. Instruction will be asynchronous, which means that students will complete required assignments at home at their own pace. SVHS teachers will post assignments in Google Classroom on Tuesday morning.  

All assignments must be completed and turned in by Friday, January 12, 2024 for the student to be marked present for Tuesday, January 9, 2024.  It is important for ALL students to check Google Classroom for each of their classes and to complete all assignments from teachers.

In addition to the posted assignments in Google Classroom, all Spring Valley teachers will hold virtual office hours on Tuesday.  Virtual office hours will be from 11:30 am – noon and again from 3:30 – 4:10 pm.  Teachers will post Google Meet links for the virtual office hours in their respective Google Classrooms.  These virtual office hours are for students to ask questions or seek help on assigned instructional activities. 

We want to thank our teachers for the extra preparation they have had for this eLearning day and we appreciate the flexibility of our families with this change.  We hope that everyone stays safe tomorrow.
