Please support the FIERCE mentoring group by donating to our Pie in the Face Showdown. The money raised from this fundraiser will be donated to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation in the name of our former mentor Coach Legette.
The teachers and staff participating are Dr. Platt, Coach Key, Mr. Durant, Mr. Paschal, Mrs. Zimmerman, Mrs. Wargel, Mr. Grantham, Mrs. Shelton, Mrs.Spigner, Mr. McGee, Mr. Graham, and Mr. Smoak.

What to bring to our District FAFSA Help Night with link included (courtesy of Free Application for Federal Student Aid )
What will I need to fill out the FAFSA?
To complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®), you will need:
-Your Social Security Number
-Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
-Your federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned. (Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.)
-Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)
-Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
-An FSA ID to sign electronically
-If you are a dependent student, then you will also need most of the above information for your parent(s).

Do you have some interest in working with children in the future (teaching, counseling, law enforcement, coaching, nursing, etc.)? If you have a GPA of a 3.0 or higher, no suspensions, and good attendance, please reach out to Mrs. Dilley in Classroom D329 if you would be interested in taking the Teacher Cadet class next semester. The class is 1/2 period.
Interested in a career in teaching? This scholarship might be for YOU!

The South Carolina Teaching Fellows Program is entering its 24th year of offering the state’s brightest and best students up to $24,000 over four years to become South Carolina educators.
Here’s what you need to know about the Teaching Fellows Program.
Includes enrichment programs, professional development, and leadership opportunities Supplies up to a $6,000 fellowship annually for four years (as long as the student is in the process of completing a degree leading to initial teacher certification and meets the criteria to continue in the Program) Requires participants to agree to teach/serve in an approved educational capacity in a South Carolina public school one year for each year funding is received and sign a Promissory Note along with a surety.
Teaching Fellows must attend one of the eleven Teaching Fellows Institutions. These include Anderson University, Charleston Southern University, Clemson University, Coastal Carolina University, College of Charleston, Francis Marion University, Lander University, USC Aiken, USC Columbia, USC Upstate, and Winthrop University.

Women’s Soccer HoneyBaked Ham Fundraiser

The women’s soccer team is currently in the middle of their annual HoneyBaked Ham fundraiser. This is an online sale that ends November 18. You can purchase a gift card online for any amount and either get a digital gift card emailed or an actual plastic gift card mailed to you. 20% of all sales come back to the program benefiting both the JV and Varsity teams.
