OPERATION HELP A HERO
This year Spring Valley has been asked to adopt a special military family who was previously stationed at Camp Lejeune. Brooklyn Philips has been through a lot this last few years. Her husband marine Brain Philips, retired and within one year of his retirement was diagnosed with cancer, during this same time they discovered they were having another baby. Brain lost his battle with cancer at the end of 2021 and months later Brooklyn delivered their youngest child without him. We would love to help this family as she is raising 3 children with the oldest child who is in college. Click the donation form link below to help us bring some holiday joy to this family this year. Save The Date: Virtual SC Fall Exams
FALL VIRTUALSC EXAM
Virtual SC FALL Exams will be given tomorrow morning beginning promptly at 8:00 a.m. in the Multi – Purpose room. All Virtual SC FALL Semester Exams Will Be Given at this time.
Tomorrow is a Late Start day! Testing will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. This means students who ride the bus will need to be dropped off by a parent or guardian in order to sit for the exams that will begin at 8:00 a.m.
Thursday, December 8, 2022 is the only make-up exam day. If you are unable to test tomorrow December 7, 2022, or you have multiple exams, you will be able to take your exam on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 4:00- 6:00 in the Multi-Purpose Room.
*Please make sure to bring your Chromebooks fully charged*

UPDATED Semester 1 Exam Schedule: THERE IS LATE START!
End of Course testing will be taking place on December 13, January 10, and January 11. Tests are untimed. Please avoid scheduled absences (i.e. doctor’s appointments, dentist appointments, etc.) during these days. EOC exams count 20% of your student’s overall grade in the course. Your student has been informed by his or her teacher as to the specific date of each EOC test he or she may need to take. If you wish, you may reach out to your student’s specific teacher to ask about the specific testing date for your student. Thank you.
English 2 Writing Make up Days will be December 15th and 16th. All other EOC Makeups will be January 12th and 13th.

If you have a GPA of a 3.0 or higher, no suspensions, and good attendance, please reach out to Mrs. Dilley in Classroom D329 if you would be interested in taking the Teacher Cadet class next semester.
