2020-2021 Semester 1 Exam Schedule

Students currently enrolled in a End-of-Course (EOC) class (Algebra 1- semester block classes only (including Intermediate Algebra), Biology 1, English 2- semester block classes only, and U.S. History and Constitution) will participate in the state mandated EOC exam at the conclusion of the semester. This year the EOC exams will count 20% of the final semester grade only if the exam score helps to improve the students’ overall grade. If the EOC exam does not improve a student’s grade then it will not be included in the calculation of the final grade.
Spring Valley will be hosting EOC preparation events, more information about those events will be sent out in January. Participate in the free US National Chemistry Olympiad brought to you by the Science Olympiad Club! This is a great opportunity to test and showcase your understanding of advanced chemistry concepts. Email us at svhsscienceolympiad@gmail.com by 1/27/21 to register for the first round, with a chance to advance to the national and international levels. The online local exam is scheduled for 3/27/21 from 3:00 to 4:45 pm. There are practice exams available at http://www.acs.org/olympiad
