Spring Valley Students Honored with 2025 Anne Frank Center Student Award

Spring Valley High School is proud to announce that current 2025 graduate Ethan Shure and sophomore Liam Shure have been selected as the 2025 recipients of the Anne Frank Center Student Award.

They will be recognized at an award reception on February 9, 2026. This marks only the second time the award has been presented, with a Spring Valley student also receiving the inaugural honor.

The Anne Frank Awards celebrate individuals and organizations who embody the values of courage, compassion, and a dedication to Holocaust education. This biennial event honors students, educators, artists, and community leaders who have made significant contributions to preserving Anne Frank’s legacy and promoting Holocaust education.

Spring Valley Senior Featured on SCETV

Spring Valley High School is proud to share that senior Jason Peay was recently featured on SCETV’s SC on Display: Emerging, a series that gives young South Carolina creatives a platform to share their stories, inspirations, and hopes for the future of the arts in our state.

Jason, a Columbia-based high school artist, brings his visions to life through acrylic on canvas, showcasing both his talent and unique artistic voice.

Here’s the lineup:

Monday: Mismatch Day – Wear your wackiest, most mismatched outfit!
Tuesday: BBQ Dads vs. Soccer Moms – Pick a side and dress the part.
Wednesday: Dress Swap Day – Swap styles with your favorite teacher and dress like them!
Thursday: Jersey Day – Rep your team and show your spirit.
Friday: Neon Day – We’re lighting up the stadium, so wear your brightest neon gear!

The gym parking lot is not for student parking during the school day. Cars will be ticketed
