Viking Teacher & Classified Employee of the Month of February
Spring Valley “Teacher of the Month” program is designed to recognize teachers who are making a profound and positive difference in the lives of our students. Each month during the school year Spring Valley students, teachers, parents, and staff are given a chance to vote for a teacher and explain how that teacher has made an impact on them. Congratulations to the “Teacher of the Month” for February Ms. Shannon Barker.
Spring Valley “Classified Employee of the Month” program is designed to recognize a classified employee who has gone beyond the call of duty. The teachers and staff voted and the winner of February Ms. Pamela Key.
VIKING TEACHER/STAFF OF THE MONTH
Who is your favorite Teacher & Support Staff Employee of The Month? Please take a moment to fill out the March nomination form that was emailed to students and parents. This March we are voting for your favorite Social Studies and Support Staff. Voting will end on March at 4:00 pm. The winner for each month will be selected and announced at the designated time. Please note that your nomination letter will be shared with the teacher and classified employee selected.

Buy your Prom Tickets starting Tuesday February 22nd! Tickets are $25 for the first week(February 22nd- 27th) and then are $40 until April 8th. No Couples tickets this year! Sparkleberry Lane Construction
We wanted to let all of our families know that we will be experiencing some traffic issues on Sparkleberry Lane in front of the school over the next 2-3 months. Richland County will be making updates to the gas lines, storm drains, and adding sidewalks. Work crews will do their best to minimize the impact to arrival and departure times at school. If you are a car rider or student driver, we strongly encourage you to arrive early to school to make sure you are on time for class.
After School Tutoring
We will offer both on-campus and virtual tutoring options this year. Offering both platforms allows us to provide more options for students to get academic assistance after school. Please visit the SVHS Tutoring website for a complete schedule of the tutoring opportunities.
