PSAT Testing – October 13, 2021

On Wednesday, October 13, 2021, we are hosting the PSAT/NMSQT college readiness assessment. ALL Spring Valley Freshmen and Sophomores are scheduled to take the PSAT/NMSQT free of charge (provided by Richland Two and the SCDE). All Juniors have the option to take the PSAT/NMSQT as well but they must sign up to take the assessment.
Juniors (Class of 2023) who wish to take the PSAT/NMSQT must register using the PSAT Registration Form. Only PSAT/NMSQT scores from a student’s Junior year, will make him or her eligible for the National Merit Scholarship Program. The deadline to register for Juniors is Wednesday, October 6, 2021.
This year’s administration of the PSAT/NMSQT will also be FREE for any junior who signs up to take the assessment. The Spring Valley Education Foundation (SVEF) is covering the $17.00 cost of the PSAT/NMSQT for any junior wishing to take the assessment. Thank you SVEF for your continued support of our students’ academic success!
ONLY Juniors need to complete the PSAT Registration Form. The form must be filled out by the student, while signed in to your Richland 2 account.
