Dilley-Wilson Changemaker Scholarship
Dilley – Wilson Changemaker Scholarship
Scholarship Excerpt
This scholarship was created by a 2016 graduate, Taylor Ramsue, to honor two teachers that changed her life during her time at Spring Valley High School.
Mrs. Regina Dilley and Mr. Rodney Wilson are true examples of leaders who are passionate about teaching the next generation. They have both dedicated their lives to helping in and outside of the classroom, extending a helping hand without ever receiving recognition or expecting a thank you. Mrs. Dilley and Mr. Wilson helped to change the trajectory of Taylor’s life through their knowledge, kindness, and compassion. Every student should be able to experience teachers such as Mrs. Dilley and Mr. Wilson because they are the change that we all want to see. They continue to sow into the lives of their students daily while cultivating new ways to show their passion for teaching.
This scholarship is Taylor’s way of honoring two teachers that aided immensely in her growth and success. More importantly, to honor Mrs. Dilley and Mr. Wilson while they are still serving at Spring Valley. They both deserve their flowers while they can still smell them.
