Spring Valley Stands United for Unity Day! 🧡🤝
On October 22nd, Spring Valley High School proudly celebrated Unity Day, a nationwide initiative that promotes kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. Students and staff filled the halls wearing orange to show their support for unity, standing against bullying, and spreading kindness throughout the Valley.
This special day was sponsored by the Key Club, French Club, and Interact Club, who joined forces to create an atmosphere of compassion and connection through several uplifting activities:
💬 A Warm Welcome – Key Club members greeted students with colorful chalk art messages on the walkway, spreading smiles as everyone entered the building.
💌 Messages of Positivity – Interact Club distributed kindness notes to students to brighten their day.
💖 Kindness in Translation – French Club shared paper messages written in French, complete with English translations, celebrating the beauty of language and kindness.
Unity Day reminded us that even small acts of kindness can have a big impact. As we continue through the year, let’s carry the message forward and remember:
“Stand with someone today—no one stands alone at The Valley.” 💚💛

Your contributions — whether through donating blood, volunteering time, or providing items — truly made a difference. Together, we showed what it means to be part of the Viking community and to give back in a meaningful way.
