SCMEA Outstanding Performance Award
It is with great pleasure to formally announce that our Spring Valley Orchestra program has earned the Outstanding Performance Award : GOLD for the 2022-2023 school year. The Outstanding Performance Award (OPA) is the highest achievement for the orchestra programs in the state of South Carolina. To earn this award, your school’s orchestra program demonstrated a high level of proficiency in all areas of scholastic musicianship. Points were earned and accumulated through your success in Region & All-State Orchestra, Concert Performance Assessment, and Solo & Ensemble. Congratulations to Dr. Janine Parnell and the Spring Valley Orchestra Program.

Football spring workouts for rising 9th graders will begin with practice on May 9-11 from 4:15-5:30. Please bring cleats and be prepared to be on the field. In order to participate you will need to have a physical uploaded into you Planet HS account. Workouts will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:15-5:15 in the Weight Room.
