This webinar will present students, parents and educators with an overview of careers in law. Guest speakers, Erica Lybrand with Blair Cato Pickren Casterline, LLC. and Ron Scott with Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, will discuss various topics to include their individual career pathways as well as career opportunities, education requirements, important soft skills, types of law and much more.
THANKS to our partnership with the National Math and Science Initiative, (189) of our students are receiving at least $100 for scoring a 3 or better on their AP Exams. The courses include AP English Language, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Statistics, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, and AP Physics. In all, students were awarded a total of $35,600 for their hard work. Thank you to our amazing teachers for all of their efforts to ensure that our students did well. If you are one of those students who are in this group, please stop by the main office to pick up your checks from Mrs. Watts.

If your child is on a medication that MUST be given during school hours or has Emergency Meds such as EpiPens, Auvi-Q, Diastat, Seizure, ADHD meds, or Inhalers (including self-carry) please read the following carefully:

Remember, all meds must have a Medication Form signed by the MD and Parent, and must be in the original containers. All controlled substances will need to be counted. Please allow additional time as may be necessary.
We kindly ask that you avoid bringing in supplemental meds such as Tylenol, Advil, etc… to avoid unnecessary trips to the nurse. Remember, if your child is feeling sick, they must stay home.

This is a great opportunity for students at any age, especially students in middle and high school who are thinking about their future and planning for college and career goals.

“Students welcome to the New and Improved Student Body Section for Home Football games. It will be located in the second and third sections of the stadium next to the band. Each section will be two-thirds of a section from bottom to top. It will be marked. Remember parents and spectators will be sitting behind you so I expect us to be on our best Spring Valley Behavior. District Protocol will be in effect so all students need to be wearing a mask over the mouth and nose and we will be social distancing in the stands. All spectators should be seated 6 feet from each other horizontally and a row skipped vertically. Please follow these protocols and Go Vikings.
